Sheer Cover Review

I received this product as part of the Influenster Spring Beauty VoxBox to test.  I was pretty skeptical as my skin has some acne scaring and red blemishes but the Sheer cover Concealer Duo proved to be fabulous!  Great coverage and easy to apply!  Their line of products can be purchased online at http://www.sheercover.com/!

Dr. Scholl's For Her Ball of Foot Cushions Review

I received these as part of the spring beauty Influenster VoxBox and they made my almost unbearable to wear heels feel amazing!  I was pretty skeptical too because the one time I had worn these shoes before I thought I was going to have to toss them they hurt my feet so bad.  But these gel inserts made my shoes comfortable!

Bath & Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist

Another item I received through the Influentster VoxBox program is some Bath and Body Works mist. I got Twilight Woods and receive so many compliments on it when I wear it!  I tend to keep it in my purse so I can add a few spritzes throughout the day to keep it fresh!  The fragrance is light and fun and lasts a long time!  I usually spray it on my hair since there is where scent will stick the longest!  The product comes in tons of delicious scents and can be purchased online at http://www.bathandbodyworks.com on in stores!

Sally Hansen Salon Effects

I received a set of Sally Hansen Salon Effects as part of the Spring Voxbox promotion from Influenster a few weeks back.  I have actually used them before and they are fabulous!  I got the wild child print which is a zebra print...not really my style but I did get tons of compliments on them!  I work at a job where I wash my hands all the time at work and nail polish doesn't really last that long, so even thought it said you don't need a top coat, I put one on to be sure they lasted longer than a few days and they did!  They easily came off with nail polish remover!  I definitely recommend them for anyone that loves fun nail polish!

I'm so good at blogging...

Okay, so clearly I'm not very good at keeping up with this thing. At all. Well time to start over. I'm trying to sew more and build my confidence to start selling some things. I've just finished 2 purses in the past few weeks.

The first is called The Tohoku Tote that I Am Momma - Hear Me Roar posted to her blog after the earthquakes in Japan happened. All she asked for the pattern and tutorial is that you make a donation of some sort to help out the people/animals of Japan. It was a great tutorial and super easy to follow. I love the end result.

Tohoku Tote

Next was the Planning World Domination Handbag from Sky Turtle who is super sweet and responds to your questions so quick (as you can see from the comments... :) I love this purse and plan on modifying it to make it a little bigger...because I love big bags. Another easy and quick tutorial.

That's it for now.

Name Calling

After going back and forth with it for a while, I decided to finally create a blog. I had been putting it off for the mostly ridiculous reason that stillgonnashine was taken by someone that had registered it in 2004 and never used it. I have the day off and didn't really feel like getting out of my pajamas, so I gave starting a blog another shot. When I got to the name portion I had spent the better part of my morning yelling at our pug for her constant licking and refusal to take one of her pills. She came up to cuddle and gave me her best "but I didn't do anything wrong" face. So after calling her by her nickname, Lily Padily, the blog name was decided.

And yes, she's still pouting.
